Aasmah Mir took aim at Farage on LBC.LBC presenter Aasmah Mir has criticised Nigel Farage for calling a female journalist “love” during an interview.She said “that is not how a prime minister behaves” as she took aim at the Reform UK leader, who is currently riding high in the opinion polls.Farage used the term on several occasions while being quizzed by the highly-respected Mishal Husain for Bloomberg.In a monologue on her LBC show on Thursday, Mir said: “I came across a clip of Nigel Farage being interviewed by Mishal Husain for Bloomberg and I couldn’t quite believe my ears.”She played a section of the interview in which Husain asks Farage for his views on Russia flying jets into NATO airspace.When he says they should be shot down, Husain then asks whether he is worried that might “inflame tensions”.Farage replies: “Listen love, you’re trying ever so hard. Listen love, you’re trying ever so hard.”Mir said: “The thing is, I’ve interviewed a few politicians in my time, and then they feel uncomfortable, they will say things like that. “But I’ve never, in my 25, 30 years of doing this, heard that and I don’t think it’s a path that we want to go down.“You can agree or disagree with Nigel Farage and his policies – that is not how a prime minister behaves.” #39;I have never, in 25 years of doing this, heard something like that. #39;
